1. Overview
At Startorial Education (Startorial Technologies Private Limited), we strive to deliver the highest quality professional education in ACCA, CFA, CMA, and other finance and accounting programs. We understand that circumstances may change, and this Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be requested and processed.
By enrolling in any of our Programs, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.
Key Point: Refund requests must be submitted within 72 hours of payment. After 72 hours, fees are non-refundable except in the specific circumstances described below.
2. Refund Eligibility
2.1 Standard Refund Window (Within 72 Hours)
A student who has enrolled in any of Startorial's course plans (Weekday, Weekend, or Self-Paced) may request a refund within 72 hours of payment of fees, subject to the following conditions:
- An administrative and processing fee of ₹10,000 will be deducted from the refundable amount.
- The student must not have accessed more than 2 live lectures or consumed more than 20% of recorded content on the LMS.
- The request must be submitted in writing via email to info@startorialedu.com.
2.2 After 72 Hours — Non-Refundable
After the 72-hour window has elapsed, course fees are strictly non-refundable. This includes situations where:
- The student decides to discontinue the course for personal reasons.
- The student fails to attend classes or utilise the LMS.
- The student changes their mind about the qualification (e.g., switching from ACCA to CA).
- The student is unable to clear ACCA examinations.

4. Exceptions and Special Circumstances
Refunds outside the standard 72-hour window may be considered at the sole discretion of Startorial Education management in the following exceptional circumstances:
- Medical Emergency: A serious medical condition affecting the student that prevents continuation, supported by valid medical certificates from a registered practitioner.
- Duplicate Payment: In case of accidental double payment, the duplicate amount will be refunded in full within 15 business days.
- Technical Error: If a payment was processed due to a system error on our end.
In all exceptional cases, the decision of Startorial Education shall be final and binding.
5. Non-Refundable Components
The following fees and charges are non-refundable under any circumstances:
- ACCA registration fees paid to ACCA Global on the student's behalf
- ACCA annual subscription fees
- ACCA examination entry fees
- Study material costs (physical books, if already dispatched)
- Third-party certification or registration fees (CFA Institute, IMA, etc.)
- Admission/enrolment processing charges
- Late payment fees or penalty charges
6. Course Transfer / Deferment
If you are unable to continue your current batch but wish to remain enrolled, Startorial Education offers the following options (subject to availability):
- Batch Transfer: Transfer to the next available batch at no additional cost (one-time only, must be requested at least 7 days before the current batch ends).
- Course Deferment: Defer your enrolment by up to 6 months. A deferment fee of ₹5,000 may apply.
- Course Upgrade: Upgrade from a lower plan (e.g., Self-Paced to Weekend) by paying the differential amount.
7. Placement Services — No Refund Guarantee
⚠️ Important: Startorial Education provides placement assistance, not placement guarantee. No refund will be issued on the basis of not receiving a job offer. Our placement services include resume building, mock interviews, and connecting students with hiring partners. The outcome of interviews depends on the student's performance, qualifications, and market conditions.
Students who fail to attend or reject/decline interview opportunities arranged by our placement team will not be considered for future opportunities, and no refund will be applicable.
8. How to Request a Refund
To submit a refund request, follow these steps:
- Send an email to info@startorialedu.com with the subject line: "Refund Request — [Your Full Name] — [Enrolment ID]"
- Include the following details: full name, registered phone number, enrolment ID, course name, date of payment, reason for refund request, and bank account details for refund transfer.
- Our team will acknowledge your request within 48 hours.
- If approved, the refund will be processed by the 24th of the following month via NEFT/IMPS to the bank account provided.
9. EMI / Loan-Based Payments
If you have enrolled using an EMI plan or third-party education loan:
- Refund eligibility is subject to the same 72-hour window policy.
- Any refund will be processed to the lending institution, not directly to the student.
- Outstanding EMI obligations remain the student's responsibility until the refund is officially processed by the lender.
- Startorial Education is not liable for any interest or charges imposed by the lending institution.
10. Amendments
Startorial Education reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting the updated policy on our Website. It is the student's responsibility to review this policy periodically.
